Part of San Francisco’s Cultural District Program, the African-American Arts and Cultural District (SFAAACD) within Bayview Hunters Point has the goal of preserving, strengthening and promoting the residents, families, small businesses, nonprofits, and cultural assets within the neighborhood. We envision a robust, economically vital neighborhood that adds to the rich cultural tapestry of San Francisco. A neighborhood that supports the nuances that embody African American heritage and culture.
